An Identity Journey
JR CREATIVE
Building my brand identity
While exploring my personal identity, I chose a pine cone as the central element — a reflection of my love for the outdoors and a symbol that feels distinctly mine. I incorporated my "JR" signature, a recurring feature across my work, and drawing lines with orange highlights inspired by my favorite project, Wild Type, adding warmth and energy to the design.
The result is a representation of my journey — past, present, and future — combining my personal passions and growth into one concept. This wasn't just about creating a logo, but about finding and showcasing my identity as an outdoor graphic designer.

JR Creative Poem Series
This series is now coming to light in 2026, but the concept has been building since 2022. I began writing in 2022, and in 2024 — inspired by my mom's own poetry collection, Notes To Self — I created The Things She Gives Me. Now, I'm finally bringing it to life.
The goal was to let my design voice carry the poetry forward: layering photographs, hand-drawn sketches, typography, and graphics to give each piece its own depth. Sharing this has felt vulnerable, but it represents a new dimension of my work — one that's equal parts personal and intentional.
Below is just a sneak peek at what’s to come.
